Where & When was it?
The 2014 rreunion was held in London, at the Tara Copthorne Hotel, Kensington, on Friday 17th October, and concluded on Sunday 19th October. Location and hotel details can be viewed here.
What events were planned?
A Saturday morning visit to the WWII Cruiser HMS Belfast moored in the Pool of London, was undertaken. Members were given a guided tour of the vessel, which is now part of the Imperial War Museum. There were some excellent pubs and eateries nearby and the Belfast’s location is close to The Shard at London Bridge Quarter, Tower Bridge, Borough Market, The Golden Hinde and Monument (Great Fire of London). Most attendees retired to the Anchor Tap pub for afternoon refreshments.
